Program Description

This program offers an invitation to thoroughlyexplore the time-honored practices that promoteharmony in your Inner-Trinity (body, Qi, and spirit)and in your Outer-Trinity (family, community, andenvironment).

Instructionisofferedinanimmersivesetting.Duringfour intensive trainings, we delve ever deeper intothe theories and practices of these ancient lineageteachings.Itisthroughourowncultivationpracticesthatwe learn to turnknowledge into thewisdomofourowndailyexperience.

IntheDaoisttradition,anessentialcomponentofallinternal cultivationpractices is community. Being inthe companyof like heart-mindsoffers tremendoussupport on our life journey. After the initial 4trainingsoftheJingDaoprogram,wewillcontinuetooffer various advanced topic retreats in order tosupport our growing community of cultivationpractitioners. As we walk together on the Daoistpath, we grow as a family, with students buildinglastingfriendshipsasQibrothersandsisters.

Master Zhongxian Wu

ZhongxianWuwas born in a traditional fishing villageon China’s eastern shore, where the sunlight firsttouches the Chinese mainland. At an early age hecommittedhimselftothepursuitof theancientartsofinternal cultivation:Qigong,Taiji, internalmartial arts,Chinese medicine, Yijing science, FengShui, Chineseastrology and cosmology, Chinese calligraphy andtraditional Chinese music. Master Wu is the lineageholder of four different school of Qigong, Taiji andinternal martial arts, and since 1988, has instructedthousands of students throughout China, NorthAmerica and Europe. He synthesizes wisdom andexperience for beginning and advanced practitioners,aswellasforpatientsseekinghealing,inhisuniqueandprofessionallydesignedcoursesandtrainingprograms.Master Wu has authored numerous articles and 12books (5 in Chinese) on China’s ancient life sciences.Fordetails,pleasevisitwww.masterwu.net.

Course of JingDao經道

JingDao translates as “Living with the Dao.” TheChinese character Jing經 also carries themeaningsofJingLi 經 歷 (walking through), JingYan 經 驗(experience), JingLun 經 綸 (wisdom, knowledge),JingLuo 經絡 (meridians), JingLian 經煉 (refine),JingTian 經天 (the Heavenly Way), JingDian 經典(classics), and JingChang經常 (constant). The Dao iswordless. We can only access the true wisdom of theDao throughourownpersonal cultivationpracticeandheartfelt life experiences. This course is designed tosupport participantswalking thepathof theDao,whostrivetoknowtheDaothroughJing經.

Together we explore the age-old wisdom of thetraditional Chinese arts – movement, healing,calligraphy, Qin music, FengShui and Chinesecosmology and astrology – and integrate it into ourdaily lives. By developing an understanding of therelationships among the classics, self-cultivationpracticesandawayof life,wecreateaglobalnetworkofharmoniouscommunities.

To deepen our inner cultivation practices, we discusssuch Chinese classics as Yijing 易經 (The Book ofChanges), DaoDeJing道德經 (The Classic of theWholeand its Parts), HuangDiNeiJing黃帝内經 (The YellowEmperor’sClassicofMedicine),HuangTingJing 黃庭經(The Yellow Courtyard Classic), CanTongQi 參同契(Unifying the Trinity), WuZhenPian 悟 真 篇(UnderstandingCompleteReality)andothers.
