What is OST?
Out-of-School Time (OST) is a term used for activities taking place outside of
classroom time that reinforce information and expand learning opportunities for
students. This includes before- & after-school and summertime experiences.
This list of camps, programs, and resources makes it even easier on parents and
guardians to find the perfect summer & after-school experiences for their kids.
More than ever before, programs are willing to work with families of all income

Description: Fleisher’s Children and Youth Program offers different artistic

Description: Girls Rock Philly’s Summer Camp, is a week-long program featuring
instrument instruction, workshops, visiting artists, band practice, a
showcase and a day in the studio recording their original songs. At
the end of the week, bands perform their original song at a
showcase and then spend the next day recording their song in a
professional studio. All instruments provided; no musical experience
necessary.

Description: The three-week summer NLArts program consists of three workshops
each in the morning and afternoon every weekday. In the first week,
kids put together a dance or theatrical performance, in the second
week they concentrate on visual art, and in the third week they take
trips to art galleries and studios around the city.

Description: Give your child a fun and creative summer. Students will be exposed
to a wide range of art and artists while creating masterpieces of
their own. Students will sculpt, build, paint, draw, and collage their

Description: SING Philadelphia is a week-long summer choir camp for boys and
girls ages 7-12. The camp provides an exceptional musical
experience for children and youth who love to sing: learn quality

GSK Science in the Summer™ is a free science education program
