CCA Participation Timeline for Students
Level: Participation in CCA
Primary 1 No CCA.
-Students get used to their curriculum routine and thus not required to stay back for
any after-school activities yet.
-PAL lessons exposed students to ALL domains
Primary 2 CCA Trial. (No formal CCA)
-In Semester 2, students will attend a series of CCA try-out sessions. (8 sessions)
-The experiences at different CCA aim to help each child decide on which CCA to join
from P3 onwards.
Primary 3 Year 1 of CCA Participation
-Students will be allocated in their choice of CCA.
-Consent forms with schedule of CCA will be issued to the students by Week 3-4 of
Term 1.

Supporting your child
Label all possible objects that can be misplaced or lost, e.g. water bottle, wallet, bag and pencil case. Include
the name & class of your child
Check the Student’s Handbook regularly for homework assignments
& messages from the teachers. (if any)
Ensure a manageable school bag by reminding your child to pack only the
necessary materials.
Teach your child to be independent, e.g. pack his/her own bag, highlighting
letter /messages from the school /teachers and showing your note in the
Student’s Handbook to the teacher
Check the school bag daily for homework assignments, work sent back for
checking / corrections and signing, and letters/notices from the school

For the parent-pedestrians:
• Always use the pedestrian crossings outside the school.
Do not jay-walk!
• Do not wait opposite the school and wave to your child to
cross the road on his/her own.
• Do not make any unauthorised U-turns at the bus stop
