MontageDescription: A montage with two images blended together along with typography
Programs:
Adobe Photoshop
Date: 2/15/14
Course: COMM 130 Section 5
Instructor:Brother Kerr
Objectives:Learn to blend images together gradually, using masks. Demonstrate more advanced Photoshop skills for layout with multiple elements. Use a mask to apply a filter to one
part of the image
Process:I first added the background image to Photoshop. I then added the second image to photoshop in another tab. I used the lasso tool to select my subject in the second image. I pulled the second image to the first image and pulled it down until it was where I wanted it. Then I started blending the two images with my brush tool in a masking layer. After I had the images at the right blend I started working on my typography. I used one font initially, but decided to add emphasis on the word life I would change it. I then rasterized the words, made a copy and added an emboss to the words.

Programs:
Adobe Photoshop
Date: 3/8/14
Course: COMM 130 Section 5
Instructor:Brother Kerr
Objectives:Adjust image levels, saturation, color balance, sharpen tool on separate layers for non-destructive editing. Use layers to design text, and repeating graphic elements in
Photoshop
Process:I edited the sharpness, vibrance, selective color and light levels of these photos. I then created an 8.5*11 poster. I created rounded squares and then feathered them to create six rounded circles in the photo in the bottom by the marbles and the top left under the words. I decided to make all my words white in order to create a lighter feel for the image. Now my design is exactly what I imagined and I think it is amazing!typography. I used one font initially, but decided to add emphasis on the word life I would change it. I then rasterized the words, made a copy and added an emboss to the words.
LogosDescription: Three logo variations for my photography

Course: COMM 130 Section 5
Instructor:Brother Kerr
Objectives:Create three completely different, original logos to fit a company or personal image that
will appeal to the audience.
Process:During this project I played with many different designs. The top design I used the star tool and created an extra point in my design. After that I created the words and right aligned them so that they were all together. I used the square tool a lot to create my camera. Most of it is just rectangles and circles. I then decided to use a modern font for the camera design. While using the lens of the camera for the O in my last name. For the last design I used a white font and purple box to create an invert and changed the orientation of the word photography
