• CYBER HOST is a program that was developed in response to ROMTELECOM’s business customer’s needs. It goes beyond the traditional telecommunication product offerings and includes business products and services that are important to our customers.

HOSTING DATA CENTERS
• Hosting Data Centers (HDCs) are secure, resilient and professional IT data center environments for use by ROMTELECOM’s business customers. They can be used for Web services, protection of critical company information, disaster recovery, or as a principal processing site for company
systems.
• Our HDCs have been designed for businesses handling “mission critical” data. Top tier architectural, engineering and consultants companies have contributed to the renovation of the building structures to bring them the limits of modern day safety, security, technology and intelligence

Our facilities are located in Bucharest and Brasov and have been built according to the latest (released April 2005) Telecommunications Industry Association’s ‘Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers’ (TIA-942, Tier 2). • POWER SUPPLY - A dual separate feed to the local power grid (public electricity network) with
diverse electrical power entry points into the building;- A sophisticated power distribution system for resilience, with new power distribution frames - Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) technology ensures power continuity in case the local power grid fails to meet our strict requirements- Qualified facilities engineers are on site 24x7 to address environmental issues

• AIR CONDITIONING (AC) SYSTEMS
An extremely stable AC system ensures climate controlled data rooms, providing uniform temperature and humidity of the data room, using in-floor ventilation. We monitor our AC
infrastructure 24x7 and qualified facilities engineers are on site to address environmental issues.
• RAISED FLOOR
HDCs use a raised floor design to allow air flow to cool servers and telecom equipment and to pass electrical cabling. Data cables and power supply cables are placed on trays, with identical trunk architecture for shortest wire runs and thus positioned to avoid interference.

• FIRE DETECTION AND SUPPRESSION (FDS) SYSTEMS
Our HDCs are equipped with state-of-the-art fire detection and automatic suppression systems to ensure that fire events are quickly isolated and extinguished without impact to surrounding areas.

• SEISMIC PROTECTION
Air Conditioning (AC) units, Power Distribution Units (PDU’s) and computer racks are anchored to a structure independent of the access flooring system. Network access and service points are seismically anchored and braced, including ductwork, conduits, fiber distribution, cable trays, piping and plumbing and other mechanical/electrical equipment

CYBER HOST provides a highly secure and safe environment for both customers and our
workforce. HDCs physical security includes:- access control systems, security breach alarms, alarm monitoring, digital video, and intrusion detection;- single point of entry with authorized access control;- access procedures for entering the site 24x7, requiring pre-authorization by a
trusted customer representative, designated as a primary contact person; - logs on all individual entry/exit activity, regarding both the facility and customer cage access, making access logs available to our customers upon request;- security guards for access control & alarm monitoring, together with security officer foot patrols on the premises; - CCTV color surveillance cameras were positioned not only at the entrance but in several sensitive places across the premises;- infrared motion detectors and flood detectors linked to our monitoring systems, controlled both locally and remotely

CYBER HOST reduce our customers' Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by providing, as a part of our engagement, Remote Hands services, available 24x7, extending our staff as your first line of defense, support, and for routine tasks such as tape swaps.

• RACKS & CABINETS
We provide 19 inches standard cabinets/racks on a dedicated footprint. Our customers are able to install their own cabinets/racks or rent them from us. Cable trays and cabling are included, each cabinet has two dedicated power feed coming from the shared power distribution panel .

At CYBER HOST we have the experience and ability to offer cable management as an additional service which many of our customers add to their one-time move-in package From category 6 STP cable connection to multiple fiber provision, we provide high performance, reliable connections throughout the facility.
• SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLA)
Our HDC services are provided based upon contractual-based SLA’s (Service Level Agreement) that will cover network connectivity, scheduled maintenance, environmental conditions and security.

Romtelecom can provide dedicated access to/from the HDCs to/from the Customer’s branches or clients. The IP VPN solutions enables secure connecting host/remote corporate sites to the HDCs.
SYNCHRONOUS BACK-UP CONNECTIVITY
Romtelecom is able to provide synchronous back-up functionality by using the concept of networked storage and its optical data transmission capabilities over DWDM, between the two HDCs, located in Bucharest and Brasov.

All equipments are from world class manufacturers (IBM and HP), with maintenance included.
