Key Dates for 2020
• January 30 - Grades Prep to 6 start school (Thursday)
• January 31, February 7, 14 & 21 - These Fridays are allocated individual assessment days (there will be no school for Preps on these days)
• February 12 - Prep Information Night, 6-7pm
• March 27 - Last day of Term One, 2:30pm finish
Individual Assessment Dates
• Preps will attend school Monday-Thursday (9am - 3:30pm) for the first month
• The four Fridays in this month are set aside for individual assessment appointments
• You will be notified before the end of 2019 of your child’s appointment time
• The one hour Friday appointment is for your child only, parents are not able to stay

The First Day
• The Prep classrooms are in Area Four (in this space!)
• Class placements will be e-mailed home before the end of 2019
• Each child will be given a staggered starting time (either 9am, 9:15am or 9:30am)
• Please help get your child settled and then leave as soon as possible
• School will finish at 3:30pm and all students will be brought downstairs by their teacher to meet you in the courtyard
Preparing For School
• Self-management - putting on jumpers, tying laces, opening lunch boxes, packing own bag
• Routines - bed time, morning wake up and getting ready

Action Plans
• If you child has allergies, asthma or anaphylaxis the school must be notified before the first day of school
• Every student with any of the above must have an Action Plan completed by their GP and medication to stay at the school
