November 2016 Yea! Finally after postponing the Murder Mystery Dinner due to the storm (we didn’t have) our
afternoon of suspense, fun and food arrived. Twenty-six of our friends and neighbors came to help
solve “The Case of the Moving Corpse” and discover who done it! The victim was “Mrs. Donefor”
and the witnesses and suspects were all volunteers from the dinner guests. Our Inspector for the
case was our very own “Inspector
Dennis Toad (Toth)” who
interviewed each of our witnesses
(Ann S, Nonnie, Ann and Barb)
who gave us the names of our
suspects
(Peggy, Susan,
Laurel and Pat P). The suspects were interrogated by Inspector Toad with the
help of our dinner guests and after all the questioning was over it was time for
everyone to decide who had done it...And the murderer was “Laurel” who did
indeed confess to her crimes. I want to say thank you to
everyone for coming to our Murder Mystery Dinner and
taking part in solving this case. A special thanks to
Inspector Dennis Toad, you were awesome! To my very
good friends Shelley and Silvia who I recruited to be our servers, Thank You.
To Sandy for making our door prizes baskets, Death by Chocolate and
Grapes of Wrath AND finally to Chef Bob B. for preparing the dinner and for
being my husband, thank you very much!. The Case of the Moving Corpse was sponsored by
Parkwood, thank you Bethany and Dale. —Joy Barrett
