ST. REGIS STEWARDSHIP CORNER This weekend we celebrate the feast of Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit among the fearful believers of the early Church. Saint Paul reminds us of the special power the Holy Spirit has bestowed upon us to give us confidence and how that power gives us the potential to live extraordinary lives of faith. Good stewards recognize this power and use their gifts, through God’s channel of grace, to transform their lives and the lives of others. Good stewards know that it is through the Holy Spirit that they can proclaim: “Jesus is Lord.” How do we allow the Holy Spirit to work within us to give us strength, confi-dence and hope?
The Art and Environment Committee is grateful to those who made donations to the flower fund for the Easter season. Please remember
their friends and relatives in prayer. Jerry & Sharon Walker –Vern & Mary Mitchell; Marvin & Edith Walker

FATHER’S DAY Father’s Day is Sunday, June, 21st. We will honor and remember all of our fathers at the Masses the weekend of June 20 and 21. Please be sure to include your living and deceased father in our special Father’s Day display by printing their name on the Father’s Day envelope in your June packet. You can make a contribution in their name and place your envelope in the regular collection at Mass-es or bring it to the Parish Office. We ask that all enve-lopes are returned no later than Thursday, June 18. Let us keep our fathers in prayer.

Parking Lot & Playground Campaign
November 2019 through December 2020
Although the campaign will run through Dec. 2020, we hope to have the funds to complete the work next summer. The first phase of the project will be the parking lot, an approximately $100,000 renova-tion. With 141 spaces, that is about $730 a space. The second phase includes updating the play-ground. We are anticipating phase two to be about $50,000. Please contribute generously!
PLEASE NOTE The Parish Office is now open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
SPIRITUAL ADOPTION Month 8: Now I am just gaining weight and I am proba-bly starting to make my moth-er uncomfortable with my size. In a short time, I will be born. On behalf of mom and me, thank you for your prayers for the past eight months. They have given her the grace she needed to make the right choices. “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.” Cor. 15:56-58
ALL COUNCIL MEETING The annual All-Council meeting will be on Saturday, June 6th at 8am until noon. This is an impor tant time when members of the Councils at St. Regis come together for planning and visioning for the coming year. All cur-rent and new members of our councils are encouraged to attend. We are grateful for all members of our leadership councils at St. Regis.

HOSPITAL STAYS All those planning a hospital stay or scheduling a surgery are encouraged to receive the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick beforehand. Please call the Parish Office or speak to Fr. McCaffery to schedule a convenient time during the week or after Mass. Also, please notify the parish if you or a family member is in the hospital. This is often the only way we know about a hospital stay and allows us to attend to the spiritual needs of our parishion-ers. Please continue to pray for those who are sick and hospitalized.
