INTRODUCTION
We proudly present the first edition of the PhD alumni yearbook of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
Obtaining a doctoral degree is an important milestone in your career. A PhD is a title that you havefor life! Since your Alma Mater is the KU Leuven you now officially become a KU Leuven alumnus. We cherish you as an alumnus and would like to keep close ties with you in the future. We inviteyou to become a member of Ekonomika Alumni and we will keep you posted about future faculty
events. We also invite you to contribute to the FEB Career Corner by posting jobs and traineeships to our students once youenter a management position. I also want to draw your attention to a network called the Fellows of the Hogenheuvel-college,where we reward important contributors to public and business life with an exclusive membership to a network of captains ofindustry and government in later stages of their career.
But equally important is that we want to offer you a network of peers. For this reason, in this edition of the yearbook of PhDalumni, you find the names and contact details of all those KU Leuven PhDs from the Faculty of Economics and Business thatgraduate in the same year as you. A peer network can be an important asset to have in future professional life and offers youadded value wherever you are.
Having shared the same type of education in the same place at the same time, creates a bond. On our Faculty’s researchwebsite we will continue to post future PhD alumni yearbooks.
We hope to stay in touch and to see you again on future events organized by the Faculty. In the meantime, we wish you a fruitfuland interesting career path. We are fully confident and convinced that your training will put you in the league of Europe’s finest.
