PhonicsWeek beginning Monday 15th June
At the start of each Phonics session please go to Phonics Play where you will be able to play some Phonics games. The flashcards games are a great way to start your Phonics and allows you to select different sounds to practise.
Phonics Play https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/Pick your level:Miss Harris and Mrs Gibbons groups are working on Phase 5.Mrs Waring’s group have just started Phase 5.Mrs Anand’s group are working on Phase 3/4.
There are also lots of other games for you to have a go at! We will sometimes link our challenge to games and activities on Phonics Play and we will include the link for you.
Once you have finished playing on Phonics Play, please look at our PowerPoint, which contains: 1) A slide with the sound on and a word showing how to pronounce the sound.
2) A second slide with some words with the sound in.3) A final slide for each day will give you a challenge to complete and the link to the daily DfE Letters and Sounds
