Urban planning project, Viladecans, SpainThe project was developed under the motto: “The past as the base of the future”.The aim of this project is to revive the agriculture and the trade of this area. At the same time gene-rating a connection between the city and the beach that nowadays is totally unconnected.Trying to solve the root problem was the reason behind this project. There is no agriculture if the water is contaminated. So we should start from the beginning trying to purify this water. We take ad-vantage that this is already a wetlands area and so we should create a natural park. At the same time we promote this area with better environmental con-ditions for people and animals. This natural park will make the connection between the city and the beach closer.

New entrance and museum in the Monestry of Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain. This is a public building project which will gives a new entrance to the Monestery of Sant Cugat and also provides the Monestry a new museum. The monestery of Sant Cugat is nowadays so easily to get into it and also it has lost the main idea of the cloister. To recover this silence, stillness and peace, we should go back in time and remeber the essence of the monasteries: the isolation. This project presents a natural barrier in order to isolate the monestry from the city. Furthermore the paths are led back and conse-quently a new entrance is created. This entrance is also the entrance to the new mu-seum which is underground and makes the connec-tion between the city and the monastery more diffi-cult and so the monastery will be isolated.

The intention of this project is to change the use of a building situated in Barcelona, designed by Fran-cesc Mitjans. From an office building to apartments for two to four people with offices and on the ground floor stores and a kindergarten. This building is characterized for a good construc-tion, its good location and the height between the floors which the project will take advantages of.A big central open spaces breaks the impression of the considerable building depth and it increases the life quality of the dwellings.A game of boxes is the essence of this project. Each dwelling is composed by three boxes of different si-zes placed in a strategic way in order to take a good use of the space. Furthermore it is an easy cons-truction and it uses the original structure.

(e)co Solar Decathlon
ETSAV School of Architecture, from UPC has par-ticipated once again in the Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 edition, an international competition of energy self-sufficient housing. The experience in SDE 2010 edition and its prototy-pe called LOW3, (Low Energy, Low Impact and Low Cost), turns into (e)co. The new concept defines not only the new prototype design, but also the process behind it, re-evaluating the meaning attributed to “eco” nowadays. Eco = Oykos = House
The house is distributed through the activities it in-volves, multiple not programmed spaces. The user and the objects define the space according the needs, the season or the preferences.Interspaces are a way to enlarge constructed surfa-ce without increasing much its price and acclimati-zation cost.

For the first project of the Master degree in Architecture, we were supposed to create a render of a house by using the animation programes 3D Studio Max and V-ray. We started the modeling process by using the plans , sections and elevations from CAD drawings and then finished by adding on the materials and illumination in order to create as realistic intepretation of a real house as possible .Finally we made postproduction work with photo-shop.
