3. Habitat for Humanity
Bill Clinton awarded Fuller the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the
nations highest civilian honor, calling Habitat for Humanity the
most successful continuous community service project in the history
of the United States.
By 2004 Habitat organizations in more than 100 countries had built
50,000 houses in the U.S. and more than 200,000 around the
world.
4. Habitat for humanity: east bay
Over the past 20 years Habitat for Humanity East Bay has served 250
low and very-low income families in Alameda and Contra Costa
Counties by providing affordable home-ownership opportunities to
low-income families who meet three criteria:
Low income
Need for housing.
Contribute 500 sweat equity hours to the construction of
homes

How We are Going to Make a Difference
Building Events/ Other volunteer opportunities
Theres practically an event every week.
-> current plan is one building day per month
-> can be higher if wanted
Fundraise money for building supplies
6. Requirements
All members must attend 80% of all meetings
$10 Membership Fee
-> print out all forms on School Loop and fill out
3 points per semester
-> points can be earned by volunteering
7. NHS
NHS has agreed to grant service points for HBH events
-> for every event that you go to, you will be awarded one
service point for NHS
