WELL DONE TOLGA STUDENTS!
The P&C committee would like to say WELL DONE to all the students that attended
the Tablelands Relay for Life Mini Marathon on Saturday, 7 November.
Tolga State School was the only primary school to attend the mini marathon and as a
community we can be very proud of the 56 students that participated.
A big thank you to Mr Klein for organising the event
and to Mrs Bathgate and Mrs Carroll for organising the students on the day.
Thanks also to the parents and carers that took time out of their weekends to support
our students at this event.

P&C Secretary
Prep A Farm Trip... Prep A had a wonderful excursion to the Serra Banana farm on Tuesday. The Preps were treated to a guided tour of the packing shed and the paddock. They also got to see the cutting of a bunch of bananas and the way the Serras transport the bunches back to the shed. In addition, the Preps got to cuddle a two day old calf and were spoiled with bananas and bananas and bananas. Thank you to the whole Serra family, Daniel, Aaron and Lyn for making our day so memorable.
Fun With Maths Students in Years 1 - 6 participated in this hands-on problem solving workshop earlier this term. A huge range of activities filled the library
community room. Students worked in pairs, thinking mathematically. Director and Presenter of the program is on a mission to “develop the
creative processes in students by engaging their mind, firing their
imagination and strengthening their motivation towards life and learning. Children learn when they are having fun.”
