Description and SignificanceAn industrial aerosol jet printing process

was used to print all components of OFETs (metal, organic semiconductor, insulator)

on plastic substrates. The OFETs feature a novel high capacitance ion gel gate

dielectric facilitating OFET operation at voltages less than 2 V. A patent on the new

ion gel material has been filed by Frisbie and Lodge.
