Concluding remarks

▶ Country’s vision 2050 of becoming a high income country supports
sustainable development
▶ Green growth will be essential to drive that vision
▶ NST1 as a tool to implement Vision 2050, considers those principles for
Rwanda to be climate resilient
▶ Currently, we count GDP loss of 1% every year, urgent actions needed
▶ The costs of US$530 Million were projected for climate proof Rwanda’s
development. (Investment plan of SPCR, 2017)
▶ Resources mobilization (National & International) and knowledge transfer
are vital to move forward.
