Financial AccountantProviding balance sheet and cash information to the organisation on a monthly basis and preparing the year end and month 9 accounts. The role may oversee financial services including payroll, creditors, debtors, patients accounts, charitable funds.
Management AccountantProviding financial performance information and advice to teams within the organisation. Monthly position statements provided to the Board and external regulators.
Income and Contracting Accountant/Commissioning AccountantSetting the financial activity plan and then reporting on the cost of the delivery of the activity contract within provider organisations, and reporting on the cost of commissioning health activity within commissioning organisations.
Costing AccountantProviding performance reports and advice to teams as to the cost of delivering the services that they manage, collating the annual costing exercise for the organisation which is used to inform payment and incentive mechanisms.
