Why this project is worth doing?
Digital forgeries are hard to distinguish from authentic ones
Easy to be created
May have important impact on society
Example: a photo taken during 2013 Iraq war
What others have done in this area?
Many ways can be used, such as
Examine the use of lens footprints left on the images
Using Camera Response Normality and Consistency
Etc.
The approach I intend to take
Detect digital image forgeries using CFA demosaicking method
“Colour Filter Array"
Photosensors have no wavelength specicity
So filter RGB onto array of photosensors
e.g. Bayer filter
