Some information
• The Centech Acceleration program is free: No fee, no deposit, no equity,
no right to your intellectual property, nothing;
• After project submittal, the most promising entrepreneurs and projects
will be invited to go before a jury. This is where the projects are selected
for acceptance in the Centech-Acceleration program;
• The following section shows the elements you must present to the jury;
• All technology projects and entrepreneurs are welcome, whether from
ÉTS, other universities, or the public;
• The Centech - Propulsion Program, lasting up to 2 years, is reserved for
entrepreneurs who have verified their project in the Centech-
Acceleration program.

HOW TO ENTER A CENTECH-ACCELERATION PROGRAM
Some information
• The program lasts 12 weeks, from May 7 to July 30 2019;
• Most workshops last 2 hours or less;
• Workshops are held Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and
Thursday afternoons;
• Additional and/or optional workshops occur on some Tuesday and
Thursday afternoons;
• Presentations by successful entrepreneurs are held Thursday
afternoons;
• “Work hard, play hard” is our motto, so there’s a pub night every
Thursday evening.

Presentation rules
• Maximum content 10 pages, excluding the “title” pages;
• The presentation will last no more than 10 minutes, and will be timed as
follows:
• 5 minutes of oral presentation accompanied by a PowerPoint;
• 5 minutes for jury questions;
• A timer will be visible and will warn you when there are 2 and 1
minute(s) left;
• Once the time has elapsed, if you haven’t finished, you will be
interrupted. Period. CE

Format of submittal document
• Your document must be in PowerPoint format (.pptx); other formats will be
refused and the application rejected;
• Your presentation MUST be in 16:9 format;
• Maximum content :10 pages, excluding the “title” pages;
• File name must have the following format, no exceptions:
CompanyName_Centech-S19-2019MMDD-FV.pptx
• MM represents the month, and DD the day of submittal of your final version
(FV);
• Your presentation will be installed on a PC using Windows 7 Enterprise and
PowerPoint 2010 Office Plus (Version 14.0.7). We are not responsible for
errors related to character fonts and other format changes.

HAVE A GOOD TIME AND REDUCE STRESS
• Tell a story: Where did you come from, where are you now, where are you
going;
• Don’t use technical terms or “technobabble”
• Practise, practise, practise your presentation before presenting it;
• Rehearse it aloud, change the words you stumble over;
• Make your presentation 30 seconds shorter, that way you will not be
stressed by the timer on the day of your presentation;
• Our suggested template is not obligatory, you can diver from it, as long as
you respect the rules listed on the previous page;
• Don’t do what we’re doing, have a maximum of 5 “bullets” per page...
• But most of all, make us dream…
