PSZA- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TECHNICIAN YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Be the interface between operational excellence and the operational team in the production department in driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading the investigations/trouble-shooting with the goal of standardizing production processes.
• Support operational excellence initiatives by contributing to the identification, definition and implementation of small continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in the industrialization of products to ensure successful implementation of new formulations/products by conducting plant trials to assess manufacturability and identifying operational adjustments required.
• Continuously reviewing and validating production recipes to minimize variances. • Provide assistance in the development of Standard Operating Procedures,
Manuals and other controls that will improve consistency in the quality of manufactured goods.
• Lead trouble-shootings within production area to minimize bottlenecks and increase efficiencies on the formulation and filling lines.
• Ensuring a successful handover process after commisioning/or installation of new processing equipment between engineering and production department for operation.

WHO YOU ARE Experience & Qualifications • A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field a pre-requisite.
• Experience in a formulation and filling environment a pre-requisite.
Skills & Knowledge • Understanding of process control and PLC systems an advantage.
• Analytical and systematic problem solving skills an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, and other computing tools advantageous.
