Hi, I am Maggie and I will
be guiding you on a tour of
Raven Island, which forms
part of the Whyville costal
community.
Virtually speaking Raven Island is
located in Whyville; however, in
reality, its history and ideas behind it
are based on a typical rural Alaskan
village.
The only way to get to Raven
Island’s virtual world is by
ferry.
People who enjoy virtual gaming
experiences, especially people who are
either pre-teens or teens would enjoy the
virtual world of Raven Island. This place is
fun for those of you who love the out doors
and experiencing some place new!
The virtual game world of Raven Island educates
young people about fire safety, and how to be
responsible using it. It offers fun games where if
you can prove your knowledge about the outdoors
and fires you can win clams to claim prizes or
spoil yourself with a whole new style and
wardrobe within Whyville.
Communication is key at Raven Island! A few ways
you can communicate with old or new friends is
through various chat locations and/or email.
