Circles

So… Before I started working on this project, I
thought circles were only applied in the real-world like in tires, clocks, and stuff like that.
However, as I started working, I realized that circles were used in more than just the wheels of your car…..

Say What..?!! As I was going through Google
searches, I saw an article that talked about avalanche rescues.
I clicked on it… This article talked about how the
circle concept was used for searches.

That’s Right… This article talked about an activity to
model the search pattern with geometry. (Circles)
It talked about how the concept of r2 is used for party searches.
This interested me a lot because I never thought of circles being used in such way.

Radars Look at radars, it uses this concept to locate
objects and such on a certain radius. Radars like in
planes, submarines and things of the sort.
This same concept is also used for signals such as Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is available only in a certain distance radius from the router or modem.

Who Knew? Well I actually I did, but I never really
thought about it like I did after doing the project.
I learned that circles aren’t just in wheels and clocks. They’re also used in everyday life for searches, in radars and more.

What else? I would like to know why the searches
and radars use the circle concept and not any other like the square and such.
