I am writing to highly recommend Joe Gill for employment with your company. I have had the pleasure of working

with Joe for approximately five years in his role as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Air Products and Chemical lnc.

While in this role he demonstrated great Process lmprovement abilities while supporting the Reserve, LA plant

along with other plants he supports. We worked very closely together during this time so I fully know his

capabilities. Joe's duties initially only included Lean Six Sigma Black Belt related activities. ln this role he charteredand ran a number Lean projects, provided key support for Reserve's Target Means effort which generated an

annual detailed process improvement plan. He also was a key player in Reserve's monthly Operations/ Technical

meeting that was attended by all cross-functional resources needed to execute the plant's annual process

improvement activities.

ln the last year Joe provided some needed support to the Reserve leadership team by taking on additionalresponsibilities. The plant had too much work for its limited plant resources. Joe provided project management

and expertise for: logistics, packaging and drum handling and the warehouse. He willingly took on these additionalroles and increased responsibilities even thought it meant supporting the Reserve Plant from Milton Wisconsin and

having to travel one to two weeks per month. Joe also supported activities in the following departments as an SAP

Power User, lab analytical expertise, along with implementation of best practice tools: administration, plant

operations, lab, and maintenance. Joe performed extremely well no matter which of these role he was serving in.

Joe always brought a positive energy to the Reserve plant, willingly helping other team members even after his

work load and responsibilities increased substantially. He was a major contributor to Reserve's successfulproductivity improvement effort. Joe took on additional duties and travel with no complaints and he continued tohelp meet Reserve's plant needs. Joe worked well with all plant employees and always demonstrated a passion fordoing what was right. Joe has a strong sense of duty, pride in his work and also strong ethics. Without Joe's

dedication, team work, and willingness to accept additional roles and responsibilities, the Reserve plant wouldhave had to increase its headcount. This was due to the plant's current work load and limited resources. With all ofthese qualities you will be exceptionally pleased when you hire him to work for your company. lf you have any
