IV.Problems
Application rate of inorganic NP on different crops - within the advisory scheme - minimal respond No data on bought feedingstuff - surface balance No data on urban compost - negligible
![Page 17: Regional Gross Nutrient Balances 2000-2005 Hungary RISSAC HCSO](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022090103/5a4d1bbb7f8b9ab0599d0a80/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Summary
Balances were mostly determined by output Balances alone are not sufficient to evaluate environmental
effects of agriculture - soil supply status - groundwater nitrate content Losses during storage of mineral fertilizers, and aging of
manure (~10-20%) Manure appliation (only 80% of the total quantity) Losses in the process of wet and dry deposition (~20%) N content of manure can not be utilized by 100% by crops
(~50-70%)
