• "Wives" - If you are married, if you are a wife, God is speaking to you.
• "Submit" - hupotasso, hoop-ot-as'-so; to subordinate; to obey; to be subject (to, unto), submit self unto.

• "As to the Lord" - Just as you are submissive to Christ so you should be to your husband.
