The Parish Ministry OFFICE & FOOD PANTRY hours of
operation are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. The Office will open at 9:00 am and the Pantry
will open at 10:00 am.�
Donations are welcome! Please place non�perishable food items
in the boxes located in the vestibule of the Church Thank you!�

�� St. Vincent De Paul Society meetings are postponed until
we can visit the home bound.�
�� Rosary Makers�anyone interested can call Parish Ministry
to arrange lessons. The group will meet in January 2021.�

THE GIVING TREE�

Time for the Giving Tree!� Even though
everything is topsy turvy, Sacred Heart
marches happily towards Advent and
Christmas.���
�
The Giving Tree will be setup in the Cro-
nin Room. The entrance is on 84th Street
side of the rectory. You can get your
STARS two ways.�
�
1. Call the Parish Ministry Office at 718�821�3285 and arrange
for a pickup time.�
OR�
2. Go to the Cronin Mtg. Room after Mass on November 21,
22, 28, 29, December 5, 6, 12, 13.� Wearing your mask, you
will be given a glove so that you can pick your stars.� Social
distancing will be observed.�
�
All presents should be wrapped or in gift bags with STAR at-
tached.� Gifts can be returned to the Cronin Room on the above
dates or call the Parish Ministry Office to arrange your drop
off.� All gifts must be returned by Friday, December 18th at
3pm.� No gifts can be accepted after this date.���

The Parish Thanksgiving Mass
will be held on Thursday, �
November 26th at 8:30am. �
Unfortunately, we will not be able to
celebrate the Wednesday evening
Mass of Thanksgiving and no blessed
bread will be distributed or food col-
lected that day. �
Please bring any canned foods for the food pantry to the
Church before Monday, November 23rd.�
The Mass Book for January 1st through June 30, 2021
will open on Thursday, December 3 at 9:00am. �
We will use the Cronin Meeting Room. However, only 10
people will be allowed in the room at one time. You are
asked to line up on 84

Street with 6 feet distance be-
tween you and another person. Please wear a face
covering. �

Numbers will be given out and intentions will be accepted
for this six month period ONLY. Please note:�
�� Masses are LIMITED to 6 Weekday Masses
AND 2 Sunday Masses during the first week of
requests.�
�� All Sunday Masses at 11:30am are “Multiple In-
tention Masses.” �
�� Please come prepared with your requested Mass
dates and Memorials listed. �
�� You are encouraged to keep a copy of your re-
quest. Please include a check made out to Sacred
Heart Church or cash (a receipt will be given lat-
er.) Enclose your requests and payment in an en-
velope. �
�� Please include the DATE & TIME, FOR WHOM
THE MASS IS INTENDED, WHO IS RE-
QUESTING THE MASS along with a phone
number and email address for questions and/or
confirmation and receipt.�

As you know, because of Covid�19
we have been unable to continue our
Parish Prayer Program due to the pa-
per issue and having frequently
touched items in the Church. Howev-
er, we are bringing back this program
in a different way. �
Please follow the steps below if you
wish to participate. �

out last names or personal details. �
�� If you wish to be a prayer partner, please send an

Our SHCA family outdid themselves once
again. We raised $2,318 for Breast Cancer
Research. Way to go SHCA! Thank you to all
who participated.�

We congratulate our 8

grade who received
their graduation rings last week. �

Our Christmas Boutique Sale begins this
week. This is the sale where our students get
to purchase their own Christmas gifts for
family and friends. Due to COVID � 19 this
shopping experience will take place on�line.�

School will be closed on Thursday and Friday
this week. �

On this holiday we give thanks for all that
God has given us. We are truly blessed. We
also pray for those less fortunate that God
will provide. And we pray for a COVID free

The Annual Catholic Appeal is
