Level 2 Safeguarding Training– Train the Trainers:
The trainers for the Diocese have already started their first round of training sessions. To date, 5 Archdeacon-
ries have started to deliver the training. This has proved successful. They will be in touch when they are ready
to deliver training in your area as part of the three year programme. They are working closely with the Arch-
deacons and area Deans to achieve this.
We wish to thank them for their hard work and commitment.
Meet your Archdeaconry trainers!

Annual Safeguarding audit:
During Bishop’s staff meeting in October, 2016, it was agreed that a safeguarding log would replace the
annual audit forms and other safeguarding information held in the chaplaincy.
All Chaplains are due to receive a letter to this effect from their Archdeacon/ Area Deans.
You will be hearing from your Archdeacons in the near future.
