I have recently moved to Sydney and for the past few months have been working in a hair salon located in Rose Bay. I have been in the fashion industry for 8 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
The value I will bring to your company given my past studies and work experience includes:

For the past two years I have been working at TV3 Mediaworks. Television is such an exciting job to be involved in and being able to see your work on screen is so rewarding.
I really enjoy working in a busy environment. It keeps me motivated and determined to always be doing my best.As long as I am helping someone to feel amazing and look their best I feel satisfied.
Outside of my work, I enjoy socializing with friends, going to the gym, traveling, as well as also enjoying some time to myself. I get along with people really well and can adapt to differ-ent personalities easily which I find a great trait to have in a working environment. I love working as a team but am also confident working by myself.
I completed my hairdressing apprenticeship through Servilles Academy whilst working at Abstraxt Hairdesign.
Being in such a fast changing industry, it has always been important to me that I am continuously attending courses and workshops to improve my skills and learn new techniques.
I thrive off motivation and found by completing these courses and workshops I was challenging myself and bettering myself in both my hairdressing skills and self confidence in my work.
I then decided to attend the Samala Robinson Academy of Makeup. I love making my clients feel beautiful and now I was able to create the entire look for them. Being able to do both hair and makeup has enabled me to extend my career options.

I’m writing in support of Sarah Manning, a make-up artist and stylist at Mediaworks in Auckland. I am one of the network’s 6 o’clock newsreaders and have had the good fortune to work with Sarah many times.
Sarah is a terrific make-up artist. Not only is she talented, she’s also consistent and calm under pressure. I am very happy to arrive at work and find I’ve been allocated her make-up chair!
Sarah is also very quick – a key skill in live television. Good at detail work – especially eye make-up - she also has a natural ability to step back and take in the big picture.
As a presenter working in a live news environment it always gives you a lift to leave the make-up studio feeling good.It means you can focus on your own job knowing your hair and makeup is done well enough to last while you’re on-air. Sarah totally understands this.
