Rock Climbing at Red BarnThis activity is only available to children aged 12+ years. Maximum of 60 children for each time slot. Preregistration is required for both climbers and spectators at: https://goo.gl/forms/JBepStrOx8pdVsz13.
The Red Barn is a bouldering-only gym, where climbs are shorter and falls protected with padding. Climbing routes are set and maintained for all abilities and skill levels. The gym is in a 100-year-old barn that has no heat or plumbing. Please dressed appropriately for outdoor temperatures. There is a Port-O-John in the main parking lot.
Ice Skating at Ritter ArenaAdmission is $3 per person; skate rental is an additional $3 per person.
Using the Aquatics Center at Gordon Field HouseAdmission is free; just tell the student workers at the entrance that you are attending the 50th Anniversary Reunion. You can enter the building from the SLC entrance on the Quarter Mile or the ground-level entrance next to D-Lot.
Waivers are required before entry. Children must be 4 years of age or older to use the facilities. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Using RIT Recreational FacilitiesRecreational facilities include areas like the fitness center, basketball courts, track and racquetball courts. Alumni and families are welcome to use these facilities. Simply identify yourselves as 50th Anniversary Reunion attendees to enter the facilities at no charge.
Children must be at least 14 years old to use the fitness center. If towels or equipment are needed, they can be borrowed from the equipment cage on the lower level of the Field House with a photo ID.
Lactation RoomFor lactating mothers, a room is available for use at Lyndon Baines Johnson Hall on the third floor (room 60-3228). It is open to the public and has a sink, comfortable chair, and a changing table. Please contact Chris Knigga at [email protected] if there are any problems with the room.
Fairy Tale CourtroomThis extremely adaptable comedy shows the other side of several familiar fairy tales when the Big Bad Wolf is brought to trial. We, the People, need your help to decide if the Big Bad Wolf is guilty or not guilty. The Three Little Pigs, Red Riding Hood, Grandma, Boy Who Cried Wolf, and the Badger will be testifying against the Big Bad Wolf. Come join the jury and decide for yourself!
