over Mritya (death). This homam is also called ‘Maha Sanjeevani Homa/Yagna’.Rudra
Mrityunjaya Homam is performed by invoking Lord Shiva followed by the chanting of
Mrityunjaya Mantra for Longevity of Life and then performing the homam.
