Beautification–EachyeartheauctionraisesmoneytofundabeautificationprojectfortheBHEcampus.
Kids’Creations–Artcreatedenthusiasticallybyyourchildrenwillbeavailableforpurchaseatauction.Don’tmissthisopportunitytograbyourchild’smasterpiece!
Teacher/PrincipalParties–EachBHEteacherhostsaclassparty,activitiesarevariedbygradelevelandyourchild’sparticipationinthepartiescanbepurchasedatauction.Principalpartiesarealsoavailablewhichincludeanouting/lunchwithyourchild’sPrincipalorAssistantPrincipal.

Inthesimplestofterms,theSolicitationChairisinchargeofgettingalltheauctionitems!Inmorecomplexterms,shewillsendoutallthesolicitationletters,pickuptheitems,entertheitemsastheycomein,storealltheitems,sendthankyounotesandprovidealldonorsreceipts.ThesolicitationchairassistwithalltheLiveAuctionandBigBoarditems.Sheisalsoresponsibleforthesilentauctionlayout/setupandauctionnightitempickup.Sheisalsoinchargeofparties!

TheEventCoordinatorisresponsibleforoverseeingallaspectsoftheBHEAuctionEvent.Specificresponsibilitiesinclude:schedulingthevenue,choosingthemenu,workingwiththedecorationsteam,securingentertainment,findinganauctioneer,bookingsecurity,andcoordinatingwiththecommunicationsteamonauctionlayout.TheEventCoordinatorisalsoresponsibleforhelpingtoorganizethe“Men’sPokerParty”and“Girls’NightOut”–informationabouttheseeventswillbecomingoutshortly,sopleasekeepaneyeoutformoredetails.Wewillalsobelookingforvolunteersforthedecorationscommittee,sopleasecheckbackforadditionalinformationsoon.

TheCommunicationsChairfortheBHEAuctionisresponsibleformakingsureyou,firstandforemost,KNOWABOUTTHEAUCTION!YouwillreceiveAuctionannouncementsandinformationfromthisChair-likelyintheformofemailorPTAE-blast.ButwealsoencourageyoutoLike/FollowtheBunkerHillElementaryAuctionFacebookPage.TheChairisalsoresponsibleforcommunicating(ordirectingcommunications)withthecommunity-sendingbothAuctionUnderwritinglettersandSolicitationletterstolocalbusinessesandindividuals.TheCommunicationsChairalsocoordinatesFamilyPhotos(anamazingopportunitytohaveafamilyportraitsitting)aswellastheAuctionPhotoGallery(individualstudentportraitsforsaleattheAuction).TheAuctionBrochure(you’llreceiveonebeforeauctionifyoubuyyourtickets)isthehandiworkoftheCommunicationsChairaswell.Thenightoftheauction,theevening’sscheduleandorderofeventsareorchestratedbythisChair.
