Oakville, Ontario.Cherished son of Louise and Arthur Peach. Loving brother of Michael (Tracey), adoring uncle of Samuel Owen and William Jacob Peach; special nephew of Sharon Peach of Toronto and Hanorah Murphy of Oakville; also survived by his loving cousins Kelly, (Chris) and their children Daniel, Rachel and Sarah; Michele (Steve); and Monica (Daren) and their children Caroline and Elle.A talented chef with a love of fine dining, Chris worked the kitchens of a number of top restaurants, including Scaramouche and Le Papillon in Toronto, Annapurna in Courchevel, France and most recently at Jonathan's of Oakville. Chris was a graduate of Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School in Sudbury, going on to study Philosophy at Trent University and Culinary Arts at Cambrian College. He was an accomplished vocalist, and in earlier years very involved with musical productions at the Sudbury Theatre Centre, the Kiwanis Music Festival as well as shows put on at Lo-Ellen. Chris also enjoyed sports and was especially proficient in the high school and LU swim teams and downhill skiing.The family invites friends to celebrate Chris at the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury after 11:00 AM, Saturday, the 10th of May. A memorial service will follow at 11:30. Passedaway peacefully at Wyndham Manor inOakville, Ontario, with her family at her side,after a long and valiant struggle withAlzheimer's. Lilian was the devoted wife of thelate William (Bill), much loved mother of son Billand his wife Ann of Oakville, loving and veryproud grandmother of Rob (Santhe) ofVancouver and Jon (Tina) of Mississauga andgreat-grandmother of Héloïse and Amélie ofVancouver. She was pre-deceased by herparents Albert (Dick) and Nellie Meade andsiblings Betty, Nellie and Bert. She was bornand raised in Winnipeg where she was a lovingand supportive wife and mother whose life wasfull of Church activities (Holy Trinity and St.Mark's), working at Eaton's and wonderfulsummers with family and friends atBrereton Lake. In 1986, she moved with BillSr. to Mississauga to be closer to Bill, Ann, Roband Jon. We will always be thankful for theirwillingness to move and cherish the timeswe had together. A private familyservice will be held this summer when our familyis together. McCULLOCH, Dr. Michael Alexander (November 18, 1932 – May 4, 2008). After a long brave battle with leukemia, Michael left this world to sing, ski, play tenn is and go l f in the nex t . He d ied peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital where he had been a staff member for 45 years. Lovingly re-membered and greatly missed by his wife Ann (Rainnie) and children Gillian (Gord Bogden), Pam (Jon Tyner) , Gavin (Carolyn Meacher), Maggie (Jeff Ayoub) and Matthew (Danah Duke). Also missed by his grandchildren Scott, Blake, Jamie, Nicholas, Luke, Heather, Clare, Logan and Tala. Survived by his brothers Bob (Vi rg in ia) and Ian (Mar ia) and many nieces and nephews. Michael was born in Montreal. He attended Bishops College School where he was Head Prefect. He graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1959 and went on to be a family doctor (Dr. Mike) in Oakville. He also cherished his years as the school doctor at Appleby College and camp doctor at Kilcoo. His passion was for his family, his patients, teaching about diabetes to whomever would listen, and lately singing with the Oakville Entertainers. A fine athlete, he will be missed on the hills of Holimont and on the course of the Toronto Golf Club. Aspecial thank-you to Dr. Rouse and all the staff on 2E, especially Bev and Joanne and his fans at the Halton Diabetes Program. A Funeral Service will be held a t S t . Jude ’s Ang l i can Chu rch , 160 William Street, Oakville on Thursday, May 8th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, please give the gift of blood.
