  • Inductive RPM sensorfor the TSC system

    RPM sensorRPM sensor

This inductive RPM sensor is suitable for all electronicignition systems, doesn't matter if 1 cylinder or 2 cylinderBoxer ignitions. The sensor for the TSC speed governorsimplifies installation and implementing of the TCSsignificantly.

The principle of RPM detection is easy as well as clever:the sensor must be sticked to the case of the ignition boxitself with double-sided cellotape which is included indelivery.

The RPM will be detected completely contact-free. Youdon't have to interrupt cables, fix magnets or mountsensor elements to the engine.

The connection cable (50 cm / 20") of the sensor mustbe plugged into the sensor input of the TSC.

An integrated LED shows with its luminosity the optimalposition where to stick the sensor to the ignition box.

Inductive RPM sensor for contact-free RPM detectionEasy mounting (must be sticked to the ignition box)No modification of the installed ignition systemSuitable for 1 cylinder and 2 cylinder Boxer ignitions

Therefore the sensor should not be fixed during the firststep. It should be holded to the top of the ignition boxwhile the engine is running. If the RPM is detected the redcenter LED of the sensor stays permanently on, otherwiseit only flashes for a short time.

When the sensor is moved over the surface of the ignitionbox, the luminosity of the LED changes. When the LEDhas the brightest luminosity the optimal position is found. The sensor must be sticked exactly to that position.

If the ignition switch of the TSC is not in use (respectivelyno battery is connected to the "Bat. In") the external RPMsensor has no supply voltage. In that case the supplyvoltage must be received from the TSC (see OperatingInstructions TSC or picture above).
