A Message from Fr. Jossy’s Desk:
SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER 2021 B
We have just heard Jesus’ prayer for us:
“Holy Father, keep them in your name that you
have given me,
so that they may be one just as we are one.
I speak this in the world
so that they may share my joy completely.
Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth.
As you sent me into the world,
so I sent them into the world.”
Jesus died and rose to make this prayer for us
possible. Jesus tells us that he sends us into the world
just as He was sent into the world by his Father.
With Jesus as our example, companion and guide, as
we express our love for one another in daily life, God
is working through us to transform the division and
strife of our world into unity and peace. It’s hard not
to be stirred by Jesus’ words.
We heard Jesus give us a promise in the Gospel: to
the extent that we strive to live together in the name
of the Father and of His Son (and enlivened, of
course, by the Spirit) then our joy will be complete!
Let us ask him to strengthen us in our efforts today to
be a living witness of God’s great love through our
attempts to be ‘one’ with one another. May God be
praised in us!
Rev. Jossy Vattothu, CMI Parochial Vicar
nosotros:
“Santo Padre, guárdalos en tu nombre
que me has dado,
Padre Jossy Vattothu, CMI Vicario Parroquial

Prayer for the Year of St. Joseph
O Saint Joseph, guardian of Jesus and
husband of Mary, we pray to you for
guidance in this “Year of Saint Joseph” as
proclaimed by Pope Francis.
By your example we have been encouraged
in our daily work and in parenting our
children. You teach us to accept others as
they are, without exception.
To you our Heavenly Father entrusted his
Son, Jesus Christ. In you Our Lady placed
her love and trust. And through your
mentoring, Jesus grew into his adult life.
We praise you and ask of you to defend us
and our loved ones from every evil and guide
us with your grace and mercy.
Amen.
Spiritual Communion Prayer
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things and I desire to receive you in my soul. Since I cannot at this
moment receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you.
Amen.
