• Applications may be submitted for Middle Schools and High Schools only.• The target contribution size will be between 2,000 and 4,000 students per school district. • Contributions can be split among multiple schools within a single district.• An applicant school must either be eligible to receive Title I funding or one in which more than 50%
of enrolled students are eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program.• All applicant schools must have at least 1 dedicated IT support professional on staff.• All applicant schools must be physically located within AT&T's 4G or 4G LTE coverage areas. • Applicant schools must be willing to verify that all teachers have completed any training that may be
required.
• Phase I: Summer 2014 (NOW CLOSED) • Phase II: Fall 2014 (Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm PST on November 5, 2014) • Phase III: Spring 2015 (Deadline TBD)

Verizon Mobile Learning Academy
Eligibility Criteria: Teams from the following categories of K-12 schools are eligible for VMLA:
• Public schools (including charter schools)• Public school districts• Private schools with 501[c][3] status• All schools must be located within the U.S.
or a U.S. territory
The Verizon Mobile Learning Academy supports school-based teams of educators as they work through five (5) online modules focused on building and improving mobile learning environments. Participants will earn continuing education units from Johns Hopkins University.

Verizon Innovate Learning Grants
Initiatives:• Engage students in STEM in new, innovative

Verizon Innovate Learning Grants recognize and support promising initiatives to increase STEM learning and interest in K-12 schools. The Verizon Foundation will provide $20,000 grants to as many as 50 U.S. schools to support these initiatives.
