Asoggystartandcold,blusteryconditionsdidn'taffectattendanceatourJuneRally.Thegroundslookedfantastic,therainheldoffanditwasgreattoseeahiveofactivityatmorningsetup. CertificatesDandCCertificatecandidateswereworkinghardtowardstheircertifications,sharingpersonalexperiencesandworkingtogetherwhenapplyingtheirtheoreticalknowledgeinpracticaldemonstration,bysharingequipmentand/orhorses.Pleasemakethetimetogothroughyourworkbooksinbetweenralliessothatyouareawareofwhatyouwillbecoveringandcanaskyourinstructortoassistyouwiththoseareasyouareunsureoformayneedhelpwith.Talktothosememberswhohaverecentlycompletedcertifications,theymayoffersomegreattipsoradvice.FeedbackInstructorfeedbackwaswellreceived.Welovetohearwhatyouthoughtofyourlesson!Ifyouhaveideasorfeedbackyoucanspeaktomedirectlyontherallydayoranonymouslyviathesuggestionboxintheclubrooms. WehadgreatfeedbackfromourinstructorsattheJuneRally.Someinstructorshavenoticedthoughthatmanyridershavebeenlateforlessonsrecently.Itisunderstandablethatsometimesthingsgowrongatthelastminuteandyoumaybelate.Pleasemakesure,however,thateveryeffortismadeotherwisetobeontime.Ifyouarelateitisimportantthatyoupositionyourselfsafelynearthelessonandasktheinstructorifandwhenyoucanjoin.Intheinterestsofsafetyandrespecttotherestofthegroupitisthenuptotheindividualinstructortodecidewhenit’sappropriate.Mostofyouhavedonereallywelltobeatrallyset-upontimerecentlyandsetupishappeningquicklyandsmoothly.Forthosewhohaven’tbeenmakingitontimelatelypleaseknowthatitisarequirementofyourrallyattendancetobeapartofthis.Thesamegoesforpack-up.Ilookforwardtoseeingallridersparticipatingequallyinthispartoftherally.Setupstartsat9.00am.RallyPlannerEmilyStokeshasdoneafantasticjobcreatingtheJulyRally.ThismonthwewelcomebackcoachDaniellePooleswhowillbeteachingdressageaswellasintroducingtwoofourgroupstoatheorylessononPerformanceMindset.“ByworkingwithaPerformanceCoachyounotonlygettoimproveyourridingskills,butmoreimportantlyimproveyourmindsetsoyoucanlearnhowtoharnessthethoughtsandfocusrequiredtorideatyourbestoncompetitionday.”WealsowelcomeAnnaChurch,recentSPCmemberbacktotheclubasinstructor.AsaveryactiveandsuccessfulPonyClubandEAcompetitor,Annahasloadstooffer.SeniorriderLucyBakerhasalsovolunteeredtotakeatheorylessonwiththeSilverGrouptohelpthemworktowardstheirDCertificates.Forthosewishingtobegradedatarallyalsopleaseensureyouattendalllessonsaspertheplan.Ifanyonewishestobegradedatthisrally,pleasesendanotetomeatsevillepcdc@gmail.com.PleasenoteanimportantchangeofdateforthealwaysfunChristmasRallyduetoaclashwiththeNMZStateDressageQualifier.XmasRallyisnowSundayDecember16.Finally,theentriesarenowopenforourCombinedTrainingDay.Seethedetailsattheendofthenewsletterandenterviahttps://eventsecretary.com.au/equestrian/#Entry:601IlookforwardtoseeingyouallagainthisweekontimeandreadytoenjoytheJulyRallyAnnaBakerDistrictCommissioner
