Design brief:-The stool, is not comfortable for long time seating. During long periods of seating and due to lack of a back support a stooping posture is achieved which in the long run is harmful.
Project Time:-6 weeks
Height not appropriate.
(Stooping posture not good for the spine.

Final Model
Seat- The profile of the seat ensures comfort to the thighs. The back support extends to the first lumbar thus helping an upright posture. The back support has a small circumference so as to allow the user maximum freedom of movement. This enables a comfortable seating.
Frame- The is made by bending a pipe. The design ensures maximum stability. The use of pipes has reduced the overall weight considerably.
The seat and back support can be made in:a.Poly ethylene(PE)- by injection moldingb.Fiber reinforced plastic(FRP)- by compression molding.c.MDFd.Multi-layered plywood- by heat bending technology.e.Wood.
The frame can be made in:a.Mild steel pipes(MS)-tieing agent required.b.Electric resistance welded pipes(ERW)-stronger than ms pipes. No tieing agent required.

Design Problem:- To design a carrier for carrying domestic LPG gas cylinder up a flight of steps.

Product Strengths-i. Load distributed equally over both the shoulders and the back.ii. Very stable and balanced while climbing a flight of stairs.iii. Easier to load and un-load.iv. Cushioning for the shoulders and lumbar pro-vided.v. In case of emergency the person can let go of the load very easily thereby ensuring personal safety.vi. Economical and easy to manufacture.

Guide Rail: guides the rod or the pipe to the center of the die thereby allowing only rota-tional movement and cancelling the see-saw movement which is big problem while thread-ing. This also ensures proper threading of the job. It enhanced user friendliness tenfold.

The cup snugly fits between the eyebrows and the cheek thereby restricting blinking.
The hole on the top fixes the bottle right above the eye aiding in accurate dispensing.
With both the problem of blinking and accuracy taken care of-the user can now take care of the pressure applied on the bottle to ensure the exact amount of doasage.
