Sussex Junior ChessFamily Membership

Sussex Junior Chess is a not for profit organisation which exists to
promote and popularise chess amongst school age children in the
County.
We offer training days at venues around the county, and organise
tournaments for individuals and schools. We also select and run
county teams (Under 9, Under 11, Under 11 Girls, Under 14, Under
18) who compete in national and international events.
Membership is optional, but at 10.00 per family per
year, is great value.
Membership is reduced to 5 where at least one child is a
member of the English Chess Federation (ECF) at SILVER
level *
Membership entitles you to an entry fee reduction of 1.00 per
child** for Grand Prix and training events in the yearpotentially
saving 15 per child per year.

* Please ask an organiser if you woul d like to know more about the ECF and why we offer reduced SJC
membership to ECF members.
** Discount applies to 2 siblings as entry to events is free for subsequent children in the same family
