SJVA CARES
Thank you again for all the wonderful book donations! It has been amazing to see the
outpour of kindness and generosity that our students have shown for those in need.
We have now delivered books to schools in Mexico, Texas, Florida, and California to
support those affected by disaster. Further donations will be periodically mailed to
designated locations affected by disaster, including:
* California, Sonoma Fire
* Puerto Rico, Hurricane Maria
* Texas, Hurricane Harvey
* Florida, Hurricane Irma
* Mexico, Earthquake
* Nevada, Las Vegas
We will continue collecting books throughout the school year. There is a drop box in
the front courtyard where books can be donated, and books will also be collected from
classrooms weekly as needed.
A special thank you to Mrs. Lazear and the members of the Interact Club for all their
help with packaging the books for delivery. Your help is greatly appreciated.
There is no better way to show you care than with a book.
