Our dumpster is for:
CLEAN, DRY PAPER ONLY
It is NOT for:
Household trash/garbage
Remodeling products
Dog poop, glass, aluminum or plastic of any kind.
The cost of removing foreign and non-conforming materials is too high. It affects the recycling opera-
tion and, therefore, reduces the amount the park gets paid.
THANK YOU (in advance)

SWFTMD(Swiftmud) Update
On April 27th, Al Burnett (our consultant) Chuck Caro, Wanda Stevens and I went to the Swiftmud
office in Tampa to discuss with Claire Muirhead and Bob Thompson the additional steps needed to be
taken by our park in order to try and regain our expired Water Permit. Up to this point we have com-plied with all requests for information but since this is
being treated as a "new" permit, there are multiple requirements. We have agreed that in order to
continue to comply with their requests we need to have Al Burnett take on the task of completing a
"Variance/Waver" to prove to them that it would be a hardship for Tippecanoe Village to either dig new
wells or tap into city water. We will post any updates in the newsletter or on the "Tippecanoe Village" web-
site as they are received.
Thank you and have a safe and happy summer !
Beth Caro/President TVHOA Board

Old Sayings Grandma used to say
Regarding a sloppily dressed woman - "She looks like an unmade bed"
My Grandma would say "work your paws and not your jaws". She would say this when I was drying the dishes
Grandma said "you don't have to like everyone but you have to love them".

Everything in the clubhouse belongs to all of us, not any one individual.
There have been several items taken without asking. No matter how big or small, it is still stealing and you are stealing from all of us. If there is something you need, please ask, don't just take it.
It has gotten to the point where expensive things are disappearing from the clubhouse, and
"IT HAS TO STOP".
The cameras are being checked and the person or persons responsible will be confronted.

Grandma used to say: Take all that you want but eat all that you take .
My Grandma B. said we all eat a little dirt in our time, we just don't eat it all at the same time (?)

My wife's riding Lawn Mower is now for Sale
Here's the story. It's still hard to believe the way it turned out. My wife said she wanted a riding lawn mower. She works all day and was always tired when she came home from work. I thought that a riding lawn mower would help her get the yard work done quicker so she would have more time for the chores inside. So, being the handy sort of guy that I am, I made her a riding lawn mower. I thought she would squeal with delight or something and give me a big hug. I even put a light on it so she could work at night (see photo below), after she finishes putting away the dinner dishes.
To this day I still can't understand why some wom-en are so hard to please!!
P.S. I can see out of my left eye pretty good now
and should be able to leave the hospital sometime next week!

My grandfather would always want us to eat with him when we visited. If we told him we weren't hungry he would say, "Well, we need to go into the kitchen and at least rattle the dishes." That was his way of getting us to at least eat a little snack.
