INAGURATION OF AMBEDKAR CELL
INTRODUCTION:
Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar studies and research centre was established during 1998 with
funding from the government of Karnataka. The centre is the first of its kind in a university to
construct a memorial architectures type building in Karnataka state by investing about Rs 80
lakhs .
Aims and objectives:
1. To propagate the ideas and ideals of Bharatharathna dr. Babasaheb
Ambedkar ob society, economy and polity
2. To focus attention on the contribution of Dr. B R Ambedkar for the up-
liftment of the socially and economically deprived sections of the society.
3. To promote studies and research on Dr. Ambedkar.

ESTABLISHMENT OF READING ROOM IN THE COLLEGE
INTRODUCTION:
The college reading room is an additional facility created in the process of upgrading the college
knowledge infrastructure.yhe room has been kept open for students and staff on first –come –first –serve
basis. The concept has been successful in promoting group feeling and providing a homely atmosphere
for studies.

To provide a supportive and stimulating environment for students and staff.
