These strategies include receiving earned income in direct exchange for a product or service. Admin/Office Machine Operators/CNC Production Workers/Laborers Food Production Custodial/Janitorial Seasonal labor
Worker Support Services Getting Harmon employee to understand the importance of
training and helping to identify training opportunities. Checking in with Harmon employees during a placement,
either on the phone or when they come in for pay checks. Troubleshooting problems on the job, encouraging Harmon
employees to keep jobs, helping them navigate different supervisors and work arrangements.
Mediating misunderstandings with supervisors.
Harmon – Career Readiness Program
Includes ACT Career Ready 101 Personal management skills—those skills and
qualities a Harmon employee needs to prepared for employment with a Harmon customer business.
Includes eight (8) lessons and each lasting approximately 30-45 minutes
Activities include role-playing and workplace scenarios, group discussions, and individual exercises.
ACT Career Ready 101 Self-paced, adaptive, online remediation system of
learning modules separated into three (3) categories: 1) Finding Your Career 2) KeyTrain Workplace Skills 3) Soft Skills Suite
