SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECTS AT PRIVATE
ATAYURT SCHOOLS

what we get, but we make a life by what
we give”

What is Social Responsibility?
Being Socially Responsible means that people and organizations must behave ethically and with sensitivity towards social, cultural, economic
and environmental issues.
What is Social Responsibility?
Striving for social responsibility helps individuals, organizations and governments have a positive impact on development, business and society with a positive contribution to bottom-line results.
Private Atayurt Schools are aware of being Socially Responsible; the teachers and the students at Private Atayurt Schools are trying to organise social responsibility projects for a better world.
LET’S HAVE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY PROJECTS HELD
BY OUR TEACHERS
& STUDENTS
Do you think that plastic bottle caps can help disabled people?
In Turkey, there is a social responsibility project:
If you collect 250 kg of plastic bottle caps, you can get a wheel chair.
We have got 14 wheel chairs for 4 years and donated them to the people who are in need.
ENO TREE PLANTING DAY
ENO tree planting day is the biggest
international activity.
5 million trees have been planted up to now. And we got our certificate for participating
this activity.
Fund Raising Campaign for mentally challenged children
We visited a special school for mentally retarded children on 17th
February 2014. After the visit, we have started a fund raising campaign for that
school to build a cafeteria and to supply their lacking materials in
their workshops.
We regularly visit the Animal Shelter in Eskişehir. We do not forget to take
some food with us.
We make regular visits to Turkish Social Service and
Children Protection Institution. We try to make the orphans happy and make them feel
that they are not alone.
We organised a fund raising campaign for the children who have leukemia. We made some souvenirs
and sold them. We donated the money to the foundation. (LÖSEV)
We organised a help campaign for the schools who are in need of books and stationery materials. At the end of the campaign we sent the donations to the schools in the east of Turkey.
We regularly visit the nursing home for elderly people in Eskişehir and try to show our respect to them.
