Watching movies without sound is like building a jigsaw puzzle with only a quarter of the pieces. Ben’s work is truly fantastic to behold and clearly shows his talent in such films as Wall.E and Star Wars, which adds more to the cinematic experience. He clearly has talent and knows what to create when given visual information. He has also worked on designing creating sound for the new Star Trek films and the Indiana Jones movies so it’s clear he does have the ear for fictional films, which can be difficult as some of the items or location doesn’t exist so they have to create sound that does in reality and editing them so that it would suit the visuals.
