Sailfish are one of most eloquent and beautiful fish in the ocean. Any diver who has had the chance to dive with this magestic creature and watch it unfurl it’s sail in a brilliant display can atest to their magnificence. ASHLEY WALSH is one of very few divers to have come face to face with this ellusive species off the Western Australian coastline and shares his bittersweet tale.

With the Southern part of our road trip, from Perth to Kalgoorlie
and back to Perth via the Southern coast over, it was time to
head North, The Southern road trip was not a great success in
the diving and boating side of things so we were both looking
forward to better weather, warmer water, delicious seafood and
opportunities to get wet,
