Other Requirements:
1.Institutional Training : An internship for a period of 15 days to be completed at the end of IV
semester in an industrial establishment/organization approved by the concerned staff. The student is also
required to maintain a work diary and submit a report during the IV semester, which will be followed, by
a internal viva voce and only internal marks are awarded
For BBA, evaluation will be considered for end semester examination during Sem IV.
2. Major project: During the end of semester V, the students will be allotted to a staff coordinator who
will be the guide and internal examiner for the project work. Each student should select a topic and the
same to be approved by the guide. The fieldwork has to be done during the December vacation and
during the beginning of semester VI,. The student should submit the project report on or before the last
date specified for submission. The student submitting the report after the last date of submission will be
rejected and the same will be treated as “Not completed”

Objective
Project Work is a learning experience which aims to provide students with the opportunity to
synthesise knowledge from various areas of learning, and critically and creatively apply it to real life
situations
Course Description Credits- 4 During the sixth semester each student shall undertake a project to be pursued by him / her under the
supervision of an Internal Supervisor to be appointed by the department Head / Director. The students will
undertake projects based on the functional areas of management (Production, Marketing, HRM and
Finance).
Both the subject and the name of the Supervisor will be approved by the Head of the department. The Project
Report in duplicate/ original will be submitted at least four weeks prior to the commencement of the End Term
Examination of the Sixth Semester. Project Report shall carry 100 marks. These shall be evaluated by an
External Examiner appointed by the College for 20 marks and for the rest of the 80 marks by an Internal
Board of Examiners / Supervisor.
Review process will be taking place according to the progress of the project work undertaken by the
student.
Phase- I - Title, Objectives, Introduction of the functional areas.
Phase- II Review of Literature
Phase- III Data Collection, samples
Phase IV- Finding, Suggestion & Conclusion.

Time Speed Distance – Problems on Trains, Boats and Stream, races. Time and Work – Pipes and cistern.
Permutation and Combination – Probability – Ratio Proportion, Problems on ages. Mixtures and Solutions –
Alligation.
Unit - II: Reasoning Ability – Company Specific Data Arrangements – Linear and Circular arrangement. Data Interpretation – Alpha and Numeric series – Odd man
out. Coding and Decoding. Venn diagram – Set language properties – Syllogism – Data Sufficiency – Applications
of quantitative ability concept. Clocks and Calendars.
Unit - III: Verbal Ability – Company Specific Vocabulary – Etymology, Root words, verbal analogy. Reading – Reading Comprehension, Jumbled Paragraphs and
Jumbled Essays. Application of Grammar concepts – Sentence Construction, Sentence Improvisation. Critical
Reasoning – Statement/Argument – Premises, Inference, Conclusion, Strengthening and Weakening of arguments.
