Note: Some of these records were tendered as exhibits in the court case Comalco vs the Australian Broadcasting Commission heard in the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory in 1979. Comalco sued the ABC for defamation following the broadcast of a Four Corners programme about the impact of bauxite mining on the Aboriginal community at Weipa. These records were part of a large consignment deposited in the Library by the Church in 1982. In 1983 the records were again required for a court case when the ABC appealed. They were returned to the Library in 1988. The bulk of the 1982 consignment is located at ML MSS 1893 ADD-ON 1616.
