Ifyouhavenotcompletedthisdiplomaoradegreeinbuilding,theBPBwillassessyourknowledgeagainstthecompetenciesincludedinthediploma.

Ifyouhavesuccessfullycompletedoneofthefollowingqualifications,youwillsatisfysomeofthetechnicalknowledgerequiredforregistrationintheclassofDomesticBuilder(Unlimited):

• CPC40110CertificateIVinBuildingandConstruction(Building)

• CPC50308DiplomaofBuildingandConstruction(Management)

• CPC60212AdvancedDiplomaofBuildingandConstruction(Management).

Ifyouhavecompletedoneofthesequalifications,theBPBwillconsiderthiswhenassessingyourknowledgeagainstthecompetenciesincludedintheCPC50210DiplomaofBuildingandConstruction(Building).

ExperienceApplicantsmustdemonstratetheyhaveatleastthreeyearsofrelevantexperiencerelatedtocarryingout,managingandarrangingthecarryingoutofallstagesoftheconstructionofhomes(class1,2,and4buildings)andassociatedclass10buildings(asdefinedintheBuildingCodeofAustralia).

SotheBPBcanassesswhetheryouhavetherequiredexperienceindomesticbuildingwork,youshouldprovideaportfolio(tables1,2and3)ofevidencethatdemonstratesyourexperience.Thisevidencemustshowyoucancarryout,andarrangeandmanagethecarryingoutofalltheactivitiesassociatedwithallcomponentsofdomesticbuildingworkinacompetentmannerandtoaprofessionalstandard.

Yourportfolioshouldincludeevidenceof:
