Fíjate en el asiento de Next to me, en cómo su forma te atrapa y envuelve. Le hemos dado la vuelta al proceso de

00Obtaining the raw materials that we work with is our greatest challenge, in terms of our self-imposed goal of sustainability. Extracting or manufacturing the products that we work with does have an environmental impact, which we cannot ignore. Aware as we are that this initial stage is the most delicate, we are committed to finding alternatives to our production.

La obtención de la materia prima con la que trabajamos representa nuestro mayor reto de cara al objetivo de sostenibilidad que nos hemos marcado. Extraer o fabricar los productos con los que trabajamos supone un impacto para el medio ambiente que no podemos obviar. Conscientes de que esta primera fase es la más delicada, nos comprometemos a seguir buscando alternativas de producción.

05And when one of our products reaches its end, we bring it back to life. A new coating and a lick of paint resuscitates every piece. And when an item eventually succumbs to the passing of time, it is crushed to obtain recycled polyurethane, turning it back into a raw material again, ready to be used in a range of different ways. Because every ending has a new beginning.

Y cuando uno de nuestros productos llega a su fin, lo devolvemos a la vida. Una nueva capa de coating y pintura en su recubrimiento resucita cada pieza. Pero además, cuando el mueble sucumbe definitivamente al paso del tiempo, lo trituramos para obtener poliuretano reciclado para diferentes usos, convirtiéndose de nuevo en materia prima. Y aquí, todo final vuelve a tener un principio.

04All of our collections, both indoor or outdoor, are free of fluorocarbon emissions, have no energy consumption and are harder wearing than normal plastic. Our products are also very easy to clean, and the detachable upholstery helps them last longer. Because at Stratta we want every piece we make to last as long as possible.

Cualquiera de nuestras colecciones, ya sea indoor o outdoor, está libre de la emisión de fluorocarburos, no consume energía y tiene una resistencia y durabilidad mayor que el plástico corriente. Handling the materials that we work with is very simple, as the raw materials arrive pre-treated and ready to use. This saves energy in the manufacturing process. We also work with very close suppliers, which minimises the amount of transportation energy consumed.

El manipulado previo de las materias es muy sencillo, nuestra materia prima ya nos llega preparada por lo que no procesamos los materiales para fabricar nuestros productos. Nuestros proveedores estan cerca de nosotros por lo que no consumimos energía en transporte. Tal cual nos llegan los materiales van a producción.

02Our manufacturing process is a combination of artisanal techniques with the latest computer-assisted technologies. The biggest environmental impact is in the coating, which we compensate for by complying with all environmental and waste regulations.

03All of our products consist of no more than three pieces, which means we also minimise the energy consumed in large assembly chains. Inside our products you won’t find any internal structure, which means that the end-of-life process of all of our products is quick and effective: they can simply be crushed to recover the materials they are made from.

Cada uno de nuestros productos consta de un máximo de tres piezas, por lo que también minimizamos la energía consumida en las largas cadenas de montaje. En el interior de nuestros productos no encontrarás estructura interna, lo que posibilita que el fin de la vida útil de cada uno de nuestros artículos sea rápido y efectivo: triturarlo para recuperar los materiales que lo componen.
