Proctors is leading the way to regionalization . . .
In 2011, Proctors entered into a management agreement with Capital Repertory Theatre to strengthen the organization and ensure the ongoing creation of live theater in the Capital Region.

Proctors also launched “tickets by PROCTORS,” a regional box office serving:
• Albany Pro Musica• Capital Repertory Theatre• all events at Proctors• Schenectady Civic Players
• Schenectady County Community College
• MOHU special events
Marquee Power, Proctors energy plant cogenerates heating, cooling, and electricity, supporting over 1.2 million square feet of downtown, including Transfinder, the Hampton Inn, City Center and all of Proctors. The plant reduces CO2 emissions by over 40 pounds per hour!

Proctors is an economic engine for downtownand a cultural tourism generator
74% of the patrons at Proctors come from outside Schenectady County. These “cultural tourists” spend about 20% more than other tourists.
For example – Disney’s The Lion King:• sold out for 4 weeks in March 2011• attracted 77,000+ patrons• generated $15.6 million (3 times gross ticket sales) economic benefit to the Region from travel, hotels, restaurants, parking, and other businesses patronized by both theatergoers and production staff
+ using The Broadway League’s 3 times gross ticket sales, rentals and other revenue
