Mark Flores, Director of Payroll and
Insurance, restructured his office space
this week. The insurance department
personnel relocated to a newly renovated
space adjacent the payroll area.
In reflection, Mark commented how
smoothly the technology aspect of the move
went. When the staff members arrived at
their new areas, the phones were in place
and working properly, the computers were
also in place and working properly.
In summary, the ISA team, ECN team,
NMO team, the DII team, the AAS team and
the CCC team all worked together to make
this transition as smooth as possible for
Mark and his team. By the way, these
teams represent every team in technology
services.
This truly was a team effort.

On Friday, September 18, 2105,
Pat Maldonado taught a class to the
elementary school report card
processors. These are the individuals
at the campuses that are responsible
for making sure the student report
cards contain the correct information.
An example of as potential error is in
‘trailing grades’. As a student moves
from one classroom to another, their
grades must go with them (trail them). If
this is not done properly, it create errors
in the grades reported on the student’s
report card.Pat Maldonado

Along with her other responsibilities, Tammie Bartkowiak
manages the district’s Lexmark devices used for
benchmark testing.
Tammie coordinates with every campus testing liaison to
provide the needed resources to achieve a successful
testing administration.
She checks to make sure the device is in correct working
order. If there are any issues, she arranges for the
service provider to correct the issues and return the
device to proper working order. She provides the toner
necessary to printer the answer sheets for the students.
Once the test is complete, she assists with the automatic
grading of the tests, even doing them at the ISC if
necessary.
Tammie does everything in her power to ensure that the
students and teachers are successful.
Her dedication and hard work is very much appreciated!
